Myriaxon Medical Research
Medical AI research you can try for yourself.
Myriaxon Medical Research puts research models to work on real tasks, in the open. The first project is cataract detection from a photograph of the eye, built twice by two researchers, so you can compare their approaches side by side.
Everything runs in your own browser. The photo you choose is analysed on your device and is never uploaded.
Cataract detection: two versions.
Each version is its own thesis project, trained and tested by its author. Choose a sample photo or use your own, press the prediction button, and see what the model finds.
Cataract detection: three stages
Audri’s version separates three outcomes: a normal eye, an immature cataract and a mature cataract.
Cataract detection: cataract or normal
Habib’s version makes a single decision: a cataract is present, or the eye looks normal.
How the demos work.
- Private by designThe model is downloaded once and runs on your device. There is no server that sees your image.
- FastA prediction takes a fraction of a second once the model has loaded, and it is usually loaded before you have chosen a photo.
- Honest about its limitsEach page says what the model was built for, what it cannot do, and where its sample photos came from.
A research demonstration, not a medical device. It does not diagnose anything and must not be used to decide on care. If you are worried about your eyes or your vision, see an eye doctor.
